The Paddy Power Dawn Bike Ride Raises An Amazing €25,000

Almost 500 people took to the streets for the inaugural Paddy Power Dawn Bike Ride through Dublin City Centre on Sunday 29th September. This fantastic 35km cycle through the early morning streets finished up at a Breakfast Village outside the O2. Along the way cyclist enjoyed a beautiful sun rise over the city, a quiet cycle through The Phoenix Park and a spin past some of Dublin’s most iconic buildings.

Registration for the event was just €20, but for every person who registered, sponsors Paddy Power donated an extra €20 on behalf of the rider to Barretstown.

A total of €25,000 was raised and every penny of this will go towards supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

A big thanks to Paddy Power for organising this amazing event, and to all the cyclist who took part.
