Barretstown & Glanbia: Sowing the Seeds of Magic at Bloom

After an amazing 5 days at Bloom, we are very delighted to announce that the Tim Austen designed Barretstown & Glanbia Sowing the Seeds of Magic Garden won a Silver Gilt medal and was also the very proud winner of the People’s Choice Award.

Designed by renowned garden designer Tim Austen, the garden created a magical, thought provoking and fun journey for all those who visited it. Best of all the garden is being replanted here in Barretstown over the next few weeks so it can be enjoyed by campers for years to come.

Glanbia, the global performance nutrition and ingredients group, proudly partnered with Barretstown as its designated charity of choice in Ireland for 5 years. During that amazing partnership, thousands of Glanbia employees and customers from all over Ireland raised over €1.6m for Barretstown!

As a fitting tribute to the ending of this partnership the garden will be transplanted to Barretstown after Bloom as a lasting legacy of Glanbia’s contribution to Barretstown. The garden will then be enjoyed by the families that come to stay in Barretstown for years to come.
