Dress up in your finest Halloween costumes and join us for a spooky movie showing at Barretstown Castle!  

The event features both indoor and outdoor activities, so please dress accordingly for the weather. Along the way, enjoy treats from our churros cart, hot chocolate stand, and more. 

If you’d like to learn more about the free services Barretstown provides to children with cancer and other serious illnesses and their families, our team will be available during the event. 

Note: This event is more spooky than scary and as such, is suitable for children up to 12 years of age.

Choose from one of 2 movie sessions – Monsters, Inc. at 2pm or Coco at 6.pm.

Ticket Prices:

• Child €18.50
• Adult €14.50
• Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 kids): €55.00

Tickets include: Entrance to the chosen movie along with 1 goody bag for each child.

The Event is three hours long. The first session is from 1pm to 4pm with a 2pm Monsters, Inc. movie showing, and the second session is from 5pm to 8pm with a 6pm Coco movie showing. 

Wrap up warm! While the movie is indoors in our cosy theatre, there is some walking and outdoor food stalls, so please dress appropriately for October weather and wear sensible footwear.  

This Halloween event offers your family a chance to dress up and create special memories together, while also helping to raise funds for Barretstown.

When you arrive at the event you will be directed to parking area, and from there you will follow signage and stewards to a path which will bring you to the castle. Please follow event signage and stewards, for everyone’s safety. If you arrive early for your time slot, you may be asked to remain in your car until space has come free from the previous group. 

Please ensure that you have your tickets on your phone, there is no need to print them as we have a list of attendees at the gate. 

This event is an indoor cinema theatre event, so only in extreme weather conditions would the event be cancelled. We would advise good footwear and coats, as it will still be October weather on your way to and from the Theatre. 

No. Unfortunately, because car parking is limited, Boo! For Barretstown is a ticket only event and is 100% a pre-booked ticket system. 

Event organisers will not be issuing refunds for people who are late or no shows. 

 Halloween costumes are strongly recommended and encouraged! 

No refunds available under any circumstances. 

If the event is cancelled due to government advised adverse weather conditions, then refunds will be issued, minus booking fees. However, if the event is running and you cannot attend due to bad weather, then Barretstown will not be in a position to refund your ticket price donation to this fundraising event. 

This is a pet free event, service dogs are of course permitted

The charges are levied on the ticket agent and pay for the processing of the card payment and all other costs associated with the ticket transaction. 

This is a charge by Eventbrite, a separate ticket agent company and Barretstown do not receive any of this money.
