We’re delighted to introduce you to Siobhan Kavanagh, who took on the role last year of Barretstown’s Head of Nursing.
In this vital role, Siobhan oversees all the essential medical care our campers need from the Med Shed. Having spent more than two decades on St John’s Ward at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, she brings a wealth of experience with her. In fact, through her work at Crumlin, Siobhan was already well aware of the very special magic of Barretstown before she came to us. Siobhan speaks below about how important Barretstown is for children who are suffering from serious illnesses.
