Paul Newman’s Legacy

Paul Newman’s Legacy

Imagine if children living with serious illness had the chance to simply be children. To just have fun. So he started a camp where kids could, in his words, raise a little hell. Today, we continue Paul’s Legacy as an independently financed and independently managed camp, and a proud member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network.

Leave behind a little magic! Ensuring we can be here for future generations can be your legacy, by leaving a gift in your Will. Whether it is a modest sum of money, or a small percentage, every gift will help bring magic into the lives of children living with serious illness.

Our Serious Fun takes serious money, a founding principle of Barretstown is that families never pay a cent to come to camp. It costs over €8 million each year to run our life-changing programmes.

One of the most powerful and lasting ways a person can support Barretstown is by considering leaving a gift in their Will. By supporting Barretstown through your Will, you can be part of the magic for the next 20, 40, 60, 80 years!

All gifts left to us in Wills, no matter how big or small the amount, will be combined into the Magic Fund. This fund is a vital source of income for Barretstown, allowing us to bring more campers to Barretstown and to invest in vital capital projects that we would not otherwise be in a position to undertake.
