There are so many exciting ways to support Barretstown through events!
Each year, Barretstown organizes a wide range of events, such as the Dublin Mountains Challenge, Golf Outing, and the Barretstown Cycle Challenge, all aimed at helping us reach our fundraising goals and continue to provide the best possible experience for our campers.
You can also join Team Barretstown and participate in events like the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon or the Dublin Marathon. Additionally, you’re welcome to get involved in events organized by others in support of Barretstown, such as the “Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile.” There are always plenty of opportunities to make a difference!
At Barretstown, we need to raise over €10 million each year. One of our core principles is that campers and their families come to us because of need, not financial means. Everything, including accommodation, food, and medical care, is provided at no cost to the families.
We do not receive ongoing funding from the Serious Fun Network, so we rely almost entirely on donations and the fundraising efforts of individuals, community groups, and corporate supporters. That’s why your involvement in events and fundraising is crucial for the families we serve.
Get involved – it will be Serious Fun!
