The Big Picnic
Join us for an unforgettable Barretstown Big Picnic on Sunday 16 August, with a day full of family fun including Fossett's Circus, canoeing, archery, horse riding, face painting, food stalls and so much more.
The Barretstown campus will be open to everyone from 10:00am to 4:30pm, with plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the day. All Big Picnic activities are free, with the exception of Fossett's Circus, which requires a pre booked ticket.
Alongside all your favourite Barretstown activities, we'll also have special guests and entertainment to make this year's Big Picnic one to remember.

Fossett's Circus
Fossett's Circus is coming to the Barretstown Big Picnic on Sunday 16 August, bringing an extra splash of magic and fun to our annual family day out.
Choose from three performances at 10:30am, 12:30pm or 2:30pm.
Family Tickets (€55.00*) include 2 adults and 2 children. Adult Tickets (€17.00*) and Child Tickets (€13.00*) are also available.
*Booking fees apply.

Our Big Picnic Activities
The Barretstown Big Picnic gives families and supporters the opportunity to experience the Barretstown magic for themselves and discover everything our camp has to offer. With something for all ages, it's a chance to enjoy a fun-filled day together and make lasting memories.
Activities include:

• Horse riding
• Food stalls
• And much more!
No ticket is needed to enjoy the Big Picnic and all of its activities. If you'd like to see Fossett's Circus, you'll just need to prebook a separate circus ticket.

Are pets allowed?
With the exception of service animals, no pets/animals are allowed onsite
Will food & drink be available?
Food& drink will be available for purchase at the Barretstown Dining Hall, as well as from a number of vendors in the courtyard.
How do I get to Barretstown?
Barretstown is located in Co. Kildare, near to Ballymore Eustace. Our Eircode is W91RDX6. Entry to Barretstown will be through the main entrance (A large green iron gate, with a wooded avenue behind it). Click here for Google Maps to the entrance gate.
