The event is kindly run by I-Canoe, Lucan Kayak Club and Wild Water Kayak Club in aid of Barretstown.
It's open to those of Canoeing Ireland Level 1 ability. So weather you're a novice or an experienced canoeist why not join us.
Open Canoes are the preferred craft, however participants may use sit-on-tops, rafts, stand up paddle boards or any other craft that involves a paddle.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged!
The Liffey Odyssey took place in June 2015 as a fundraiser for Barretstown. The organising committee was headed up by Conor Ryan who was involved with Barretstown previously when canoeing was being further developed as a camp activity. The Liffey Odyssey is a canoe tour as opposed to a race and the emphasis was on it being a fun day out.
