The Ellen Kinch Memorial cup is an amazing and incredible fundraiser in memory of Ellen who was a camper and advocate of what we do at Barretstown. We are honoured to be a part of this amazing tournament.

We organised the Ellen Kinch Memorial cup on Sunday 10th June. It was a 7aside adult ladies football blitz in Tinahely. We raised €2,485.99 for Barretstown which we were delighted with. There was 14 teams involved representing 4 counties. It was an excellent day with all teams getting 3 games each and top 4 qualifying for semi final places. We had 4 small pitches set up which ensured the games all ran on time with each other! There were 5 referees on the day which all done an excellent job! There was homemade food in the hall for all supporters, helpers and players to nibble at throughout the day.
There was also a special guest(heavy ram!!!!) on the day which people could guess his weight to win an excellent Prize to an overnight stay in the Raddisson hotel with entryto the late late show in October.
We would like to thank everyone so much for their help on the day. And also the 14 teams and referees who came on the day as if it weren’t for them we wouldn’t of had a great day! It was played in excellent spirit and good hearted fun!
